Basic Info
Name:Ace Aduro
Bio
Ace is seventeen, and likes movies, long walks on the beach, cliches, and describing himself in the third person. He's also a total sucker for all things Digimon, unfortunately he doesn't know most of the non-Adventure to Tamers canon very well but still feels compelled to include it all in his attempts at fanfiction, as they seem to fall flat when a crossover (or five) isn't involved.

This journal was mainly made as a place for Ace to ramble about his National Novel Writing Month project, "The Way Back Home", as well as post the 'uncut' version that he can't post on Fanfiction.net (aka the pr0n, because everyone loves pr0n except FF.N). It was inspired by tormentacorazon once mentioning once mentioning a failed AU Ryo-centric fic of hers entitled "Digital Cowboy" (apparently her scraps of it are posted at spiralunbound) and Ace getting entirely the wrong idea, and it all kind of snowballed from there. The title is from the Wreckers' song, mostly because the fic's at least partially set in the country and it's a country song damnit. While he can't think of a way to make the song relevant to the plot (or lack thereof), the first half of the song in particular somehow felt appropriate:
Somewhere in the country, there's a place where nobody knows your name. When I'm feeling lonely, there's a train that helps me run away.
I know my mother. She always told me, the road would get cold. I never listened, always forgettin', the way back home... The way back home...

Speaking of tormentacorazon, she is entirely responsible for dragging Ace kicking and screaming into Digimon fandom, which is why they share a lot of pairings (Jenryo being the most notable), but Ace would like to let it be shown on the record that there is absolutely NO canonical basis for Jenruki, and Starshone built that ship not even on rock and roll but on WISHFUL THINKING. Ceterum, censet Carthaginem esse delendam.

On the NaNo site, Ace is freeloading tormentacorazon's old account, Starshone Storm.

(PS: Ace fails at HTML and pretty much only uses rich text. Sorry.)
